The world population will demand twice as many resources as our planet can provide by year 2030 [13]. Therefore, there is a need for more creative problem solving and understanding the situation. To address complex environmental challenges, the education about the environment is necessary.
If in the 21st century we want successful general management with the right business fundamentals and decisions, then we cannot exclude the knowledge of the environment. The new business leaders must fundamentally take a responsible attitude to the environment. This is one of the most important works for us to prepare ourselves to be good environmental citizens. Environmental education equips person with the necessary motivation, knowledge, skills on how natural environment performs and how we as humans can manage our behaviour and ecosystem for sustainable living. Environmental education emphasizes critical thinking, discussions, learning with others, and focuses on strategies with real-world applications. The study will be carried out about educating young leaders on environmental issues to prepare them for responsible decision-making in situations that may affect the environment. In addition, how their knowledge, attitudes, behaviour and skills on the environment changes during the study process, whether they are willing to make more ethical decisions. The research methods used are questionnaire and focus group discussions. |
