The purpose of this work is the rehabilitation of a plot of land located on Circumvala?iunii Street in Timisoara, which at present has no functionality, by arranging a space dedicated to quadrupeds, but also to their owners. The main motivation of this project was the desire to set up a dog park in the true sense of the word and to make this concept known in Romania, because in most cities in the country, these spaces dedicated to dogs are either non-existent or too small for their needs. The area also helps expand the existing urban green area in the city. The structure of the paper consists of three parts, namely: the first part will present general data, definitions, a short history and examples of dog parks in Romania and abroad, the second part refers to the natural environment, namely to the area and the city where it will be located, but also the programs used for the project implementation, and the third part contains the steps for putting into practice the materials and equipment of the park. The end of the paper contains the project?s conclusions, but also some maintenance recommendations. Dog parks are outdoor locations, where dogs can feel good. Whether it means a space for running, swimming in ponds or meeting a new friend, dog parks have to be fun, comfortable and safe.
