During the exploitation of offshore deposits, earthquakes of technogenic nature may occur. Currently working geodynamic systems on the Korchagin and Filanovsky platforms in the North Caspian Sea were created and deployed. In addition, since 2007, for several years, periodic monitoring of local seismicity at the Kravtsovskoye field in the Baltic Sea has been carried out. As a result of seismological monitoring, it was found the presence of earthquake epicenters in the oil production region on the D6 platform and this fact requires increased attention, since they can be of an anthropogenic nature associated with intensive oil pumping. Also it was concluded that the moments of the appearance of slicks in the Northern Caspian Sea are preceded by the strongest regional and distant earthquakes.
