This work is related to the analysis of two complicated pipeline sections (section «A» and section «B»). Rheological properties (hydrometer MARS?II Haake) of produced and transported fluids. Hydraulic calculation of the technological process of fluid transportation from the well sites to the oil collection system was performed.
Hydraulic modeling carried out with the help of PIPESIM software. The input data for process modeling were the results of investigations of rheological properties of transported fluids and technological characteristics of pipelines. According to the hydraulic calculation for section «A», it is not possible to provide flow with a product water cut of 30 to 65% and a viscosity of 590 mPa*s. The calculation method revealed the value of the viscosity of the liquid for a stable flow, which was 250 mPa*s. So, it is necessary to reduce the actual value of the viscosity by 58% (from 590 mPa*s to 250 mPa*s). For the section «B» with water cut of products from 30 to 67% and viscosity of 1710 mPa*s, the results of the study showed the impossibility of ensuring the flow. The calculated viscosity of the liquid for a stable flow was 600 mPa*s. It is necessary to reduce the actual viscosity value by 70% (from 1710 mPa*s to 600 mPa*s). Calculations with using PIPESIM software allowed identifying the cause of the complication and giving recommendations on the selection of the necessary chemical reagents for pressure reduction. |
