This paper will explore the characteristics of matrix structures and their relationships with project success managers, such as quality of communication, collaboration, support in problem solving and the effectiveness of project management among project team members. The matrix characteristics that were expected to be positively related to project success are mainly related to success leaders. However, the characteristics that are expected to negatively impact project success did not indicate such significant relationships; some even positively relate to success leaders. Manager?s success in turn positively correlated with perceived project success. The treated model discloses the effects of matrix characteristics on the drivers of their ultimate success and efficiency and project performance. The main objective of this paper is to clarify the effect of how organizational structures can increase the effectiveness of the organization projects. Achieving this goal for the realization of the paper is done through the collection of primary data produced through a survey done, as the primary method of data collection. The objective of the questionnaire has been receiving information about the design of the organizational structure at the corporate level and at the business unit level and level of relational of structure with project management success.
