A ventilation system is defined by performing air exchanges between the indoor and outdoor environment with the purpose of creating environmental conditions as close to the required thermal comfort conditions.
Before installing a fan, it is necessary to analyze the space in which it is to be used and the method of compensating the exhaust air (mechanically with another fan or naturally with dimensioned grids). The most important factors to consider when choosing a fan are: the volume of the space, the number of shifts per hour required depending on the destination of the space, as well as the heat release, the heat input from outside and other releases of humidity or odors. Depending on the nature of the harmful substance whose removal is sought, some ventilation systems have a specific construction and operation, namely: dust removal systems, mist removal, heat removal, deodorization, air sterilization systems. The paper will present theoretical notions regarding the industrial ventilation systems, their functioning and the principles that these systems must adhere to, in the event of harmful air releases that could endanger the health and comfort of the personnel. |
