Assessment of available geophysical and geological data for the Bulgarian Black sea shelf is presented in order to give a conception about the simplicity and functionality of the methodology of how the records are stored. Data on these disciplines provide valuable information about the history and the dynamic of the shelf and can be in use for numerous investigations. Geological, morphological, geophysical, geochronological findings show the changes in the shape and movements of this region from the aquatory, its features, peculiarities, distinctions, patterns and indications. Based on the inquires, researches and interpretation, sterling hypothesis and conclusions are reached during the years and many more are about to be done in the future for diverse subjects. With the everyday development of the technologies used to collect and process this data, new more in volume, accuracy and distantness information is obtained. There so the availability of these studies is important, helping the community achieve better and precise results during the shelf?s different types of exploration. In the following article, the available data is presented from the records of the Institute of Oceanology (BAS) and the Centre for underwater archaeology (CUA-Sozopol). The main geophysical techniques used are single and multibeam echoes sounder in combination with the unmanned aerial vehicle, side-scan sonar, sub-bottom profiler, LIDAR as well with electrical and magnetic methods in some small areas.
