Georgia belongs to the number of small, open economies. The problems in its economy are therefore similar to those of developing countries. Our country's economic growth largely depends on the scale of attracting foreign direct investments. The foreign trade suffers permanent shortages; local agriculture is underdeveloped; mechanization and melioration and Chemicals supply level is low; Moreover, the agricultural sector suffers from a lack of funds. Despite the fact the product produced in this sector is natural, the logistics to supply the foreign market with agricultural product is not set; distribution strategy and sales to the domestic market needs to be further developed and, in general, the challenges of agricultural business management need to be met. It is precisely the aggravated situation in Georgian agribusiness that necessitated the elaboration of this article. The research process analyzes the economic situation in the agrarian sector of Georgia, the role of farming in the field of food security, the specialization of agriculture in Georgia, the structure of production, the mistakes made in the field of agribusiness management. At the end of the paper, the concluding section outlines ways to solve agribusiness problems.
