The article discusses the information-cartographic approach to the visualization of educational information as a universal educational strategy aimed at the full development of cognitive processes, the imaginative thinking of students, taking into account the functional asymmetry of the cerebral hemispheres through the use of intellectual and graphic tools for visualizing educational information, creating a new communicative system of transition from verbal language to language grafting. The information-cartographic approach to information visualization is based on the theory of geospace, graph-communication concept, semiotics, the cartographic method of research and training, infographics. The concept assumes students to master the visual language in solving subject-cognitive, educational and research tasks at the level of professional competence of future bachelors in the tourism industry. The universality of the method of professional training of bachelors on the basis of graphic visualization of information is determined by the possibility of its application in various fields of knowledge and training.
The aim of the research is to develop the theoretical foundations and practical technologies for visualizing educational information tools. The basic concepts of the gradation language are stated, a classification of graphic data is provided, which allows encoding and decoding information. The information-cartographic approach is based on many years of experience in preparing at the university bachelors on the topic of ?tourism?. The purpose of professional education of bachelors in the field of "tourism" is the development of a creative personality, possessing, among other things, imaginative spatial thinking, graphic presentation of information, cross-cutting professional and general cultural, communicative competencies. The information-cartographic approach is consistent with the modern culture of society associated with ?on-screen? information and its consumption. It allows you to more effectively prepare students at the university for professional activities in the tourism industry (as well as in general in areas related to the theory of space and its types) due to the innovative extension of the classical cartographic method by means of visualizing any professional information. |
