Article discusses the problem associated with the aquifer intensive exploitation, using the example of a region located on the territory of the Caucasian Mineral Waters (South Federal District of Russia).
Over the past decades, the mineral waters extraction volume has more than doubled. This was reflected in the distribution of natural vertical hydraulic gradients in the upper part of the hydrolithosphere. And, also, to the intensification of the descending flows and the influx of aquifers polluted by municipal wastewater ground and surface waters. This led to a drop in the quality indicators of the groundwater mineral composition.
The article presents a methodology for studying an aquifer as an object with distributed parameters. Capacitive and filtration properties (parameters) were determined by experimental filtration works at specially equipped points (bushes). In the given example, when determining the structure of the flow in aquifers, it was assumed that the movement of groundwater in low-permeable formations occurs only vertically and obeys Darcy's law, in reservoirs - only horizontally, and the filtration area is considered as piecewise-uniform and constant.
The mathematical model describing the process of spatial filtration is a partial differential equation with parameters determined from empirical data. During the study in the production well, the input action was varied.
The proposed method of research and management of the aquifer level in production wells can be used to solve problems related to the rational use of the regions hydro-mineral base, on the example of the Caucasian Mineral Waters.
