An immunological diagnostic examination of 255 children permanently residing in the zone of influence of exogenous haptens and the intense climate of the Arctic was performed. The control group consisted of 130 children living in the territory beyond the influence of exogenous chemical and climatogeographic factors. Determination of total serum immunoglobulins G, A, M was performed using the Mancini radial immunodiffusion reaction. The concentration of total IgE, neuron-specific enolase and VEGF was determined using the ELISA method. Specific IgG concentration to phenol and benzo(a)pyrene, as well as specific IgE to nickel, was selected in an allergosorbent test with an enzyme label. The determination of lymphocytes populations and subpopulations was carried out by the membrane immunofluorescence method using panels of labeled monoclonal antibodies. According to immunological studies, in the observation group the reliable hyperactivation of clusters of cellular differentiation as opposed to the control group: CD16+ effect cells, CD19+ absolute and relative lymphocytes (p <0.05), CD25+ absolute and relative lymphocytes (p <0.05), CD25+ absolute and relative lymphocytes (P<0.05), as well as an increase in the level of sd95 + T-lymphocytes relative to the norm and the control group (P <0.05) were found. An increased level of neuron-specific enolase and vascular endothelial growth factor VEGF was found as opposed to the control group (p?0.05), which indicates excessive activity of regulatory mediators with a probable mapping in the gliosis of the brain and vascular intima in children of the observation group. The level of both general (IgE total) and specific sensitization was significantly increased according to the criterion of class G immunoglobulin to phenol and benz(a)pyrene, according to the criterion of class E immunoglobulin to nickel (p<0.05).
