Excess natural and technogenic chemical exposure have a negative impacts on the regulatory systems of the body. This leads to a decrease in its resistance and adaptabilities. The child`s body is the most vulnerable to the impact of adverse environmental factors owing to the age characteristics. Strontium belongs to the group of metals that can form an improper quality of drinking water, and is also included in the list of the main indicators of water quality according to the requirements of sanitary standards of the Russian Federation and the United States [1]. An immunological diagnostic examination of the health status of 35 primary school students (18 boys and 17 girls) aged 7 to 9 years and living in the territory with high strontium level in household water supply was performed. While the comparison group consisted of 43 children of the same age (21 boys and 22 girls) permanently residing in a "conditionally" clean territory. Chemical-analytical, ELISA (enzyme-linked immunoassay) methods were used in the work. It was found that strontium concentrations in water samples of the strontium province are 3.3 times higher as opposed to the comparison territory (p<0.05). At the same time, a 2-fold higher concentration of strontium in the blood of children of the control group was detected. Suppression of the cytokine regulation marker of IL-10, a decrease in the level of the regulatory TSH hormone (Thyroid Stimulating Hormone) and an increase in cortisol was identified. Additionally, an increase in specific sensitivity to strontium – an increase in the antibodies concentration according to the IgG criterion in children of the strontium geochemical province as opposed to the comparison group were established. Based on the results of the studies performed on the example of the Perm Region of the Russian Federation, the immune profile indicators are substantiated, the changes that distinguish the children's contingent of the strontium geochemical province is the indicator of hypersensitivity to strontium (IgG to strontium), as well as the marker of the cytokine profile IL-10 as a mediator of intercellular immune regulation in children.
