Russia is at the beginning of the development of a green economy in comparison with industrialized countries. The country is forming the core of environmentally responsible business, which has practice in the production of environmentally friendly products, their certification and competent marketing. Environmentalists note that chemical pollution of the environment has a significant and growing impact on the quality of human life today. First of all are the air, the water and the soil. The overriding goal of modern society is to preserve a livable environment for future generations. In addition to the need to restore damaged environmental qualities, it is also necessary to take measures to prevent environmental disasters both now and in the future. Deterioration of the ecological situation and a decrease in the quality of the environment negatively affects the state of the environment of human life. As a result - a decrease in the birth rate, a decrease in the investment attractiveness of the territories. The article shows the impact of the implementation of the environmental protection strategy in the territory of the presence of an oil company and reducing the environmental burden on population growth and the sustainable development of urbanized areas in the region.
