The paper deals with an analysis of the settlement of a tank. The tank has a diameter of 18.6 m and a volume of 1760 m3. The subsoil consists of soft sandy clays and clays of low to medium plasticity. The tank has been founded on a slab of a thickness of 0.2 m.
