LITHOLOGICAL AND THERMAL FEATURES OF MITROVO FORMATION (T2-3) IN CENTRAL SOUTHERN PART OF THE MOESIAN PLATFORM (BULGARIA): PRECONDITIONS FOR A HYDROCARBON GENERATION

(Stef92 Technology, 2011-06-20, Nikola Botoucharov)

The Triassic sediments in the Moesian Platform are very well explored. The study area is in the Bulgarian territory and covers ce ntral part of the South Moesian Platform Margin and adjoining zone to the north. The Triassic rocks there are characterized by considerable diversity, thickness and burial depths. Among them Mitrovo Fm. (T 2lad- T3crn) contains mostly silty-argillacious car bonates with a fair to good organic matter content. The Pre-Jurassic erosion reached different le vels up to Middle Triassic, Lower...

METHOD OF BOTTOM-HOLE STRENGTHENING OF WELLS WITH PER FORMATIONS IN UNSETTLED CEMENT SLURRY

(Stef92 Technology, 2011-06-20, D. K. Baiseit)

The main shortcoming of the earlier offered casing methods was the fact that along with the productivity slowdown of a well, in some cases there was observed renewing of sanding, with even greater intensity. Renewal of sand production after the carried out casing is explained by the specificity of cement stone perforation, in the production process of which a part of projectiles remain in layer of a cement stone, and the other, with the influence on a productive layer, dest roys it, forming new caverns. In additio...

OIL AND GAS EXPLORATION OPPORTUNITIES BELOW THE LARGE OVERTHRUSTING TECTONIC STRUCTURES OF ALBANIDES

(Stef92 Technology, 2011-06-20, Petraq Naco)

Oil and gas exploration has been one of the most priorities of albanian geological studies. Many oil and gas sources are discov ered in the Ionian tectonic zone and the Periadriatic depression. For a long time, the oil and gas exploration was developed under the influence of the geosynclinal theory. Hence, the formation m echanism of the geological structures was conceived a function of vertical-subvertical movements. Gradually, during the last twenty years, the concept of large-scale upthrusting and overthrusting...

ON SOME OF THE ISSUES CONCERNING OPTIMIZATION OF SOLVENT SELECTION METHODS

(Stef92 Technology, 2011-06-20, Е.Ф. Захарова)

The influence of solvents on the colloidal stability of petroleum disperse systems in Devonian fields in Tatarstan has been considered. A stability factor has been suggested as a criterion for kinetic stability of petroleum disperse systems. A pa ttern for choosing solvents with the aim of using them in technological process of organic sediment deposits removal has been proposed.

OPTICAL METHODS FOR ASSESSING RECOVERED OIL PROPERTIES CHANGE CAUSED BY INJECTION OF MULTIPURPOSE COMPLEX AGENT

(Stef92 Technology, 2011-06-20, Artur Gabdrakhmanov)

Oil composition at the late stage of field development is determined by both natural and anthropogenic factors. Change in compositi on and physical-and-chemical properties of oil could be considered significant in several ways. This is due to both changes in the interaction of oil and injected agents, and involvement of the reserves not yet developed. The most sensitive, quickly a nd accurately determined parameters are optical characteristics of oil, and namely the coefficient of light absorption. It depends on t...

ORGANIC FACIES CHARACTERISTICS OF MIOCENE UNITS IN (NORTHERN MANAVGAT (ANTALYA), TURKEY

(Stef92 Technology, 2011-06-20, Mehmet Altunsoy)

The aim of this study is to investigate the organic facies characteristics of the Miocene Units in Northern Manavgat (Antalya), Tu rkey. The study area is located in the Western–Central section of the Taurus Belt. Miocene units mainly consist of three formations which are Upper Burdigalian–Langhian Oymap ınar Limestone, Langhian Geceleme Formation and Serravallian–Torto nian Karpuzçay Form ation. The Units consist of sandstone, siltstone, claystone , limestone, clayey limestone and reef limestone. Total or...

PRODUCED WATER INJECTION POTENTIAL FOR OIL RECOVERY FROM OIL SHALES IN THE KHOLMOV AREA

(Stef92 Technology, 2011-06-20, Е.Ф. Захарова)

Produced water flooding allows to simplify conventional schemes of external water supply and water injection into oil reservoi r. As a result, the time of development of water flooding decreases, necessary volumes of injection water are rapidly attained and conditions for high rates of oil production are created. The Kholmov area water flood analysis demonstrated considerable lags in highly productive shale and low productive reservoir production. According to the analysis the existing technological scheme for res...

THE ROUMANIAN OIL CLASIFFICATIONS

(Stef92 Technology, 2011-06-20, Timur Chis)

Crude oil composition is very complex and can vary even within in every reservoir. Petroleum crude oil content varies according to light, the ratio of hydrocarbon classes, the content of compounds with oxygen, nitrogen, or sulfur and the presence or absence of components.Such oils have been classified according to the amount of paraffin, the percentage of sulfur in the fuel freezing point. This material is inte nded to present the existing classifications andproperties near the Romanian Petroleum and ordering a ne...
