The submitted paper focuses the issue of using a new technology of Near Infrared Reflectance (NIR) sensors in practice for dosing organic fertilizers based on their composition. The HarvestLab 3000 system was tested in a selected enterprise in terms of its usability in practice. In 2021, an experimental plot was selected in a conventional company situated in the southern part of Czech Republic. The HarvestLab 3000 system with the NIR technology was used for the variable (VR) dosage of digestate as a basic fertiliz...

USING SELF-PROPELLED SPRAYERS FOR THE TARGETED APPLICATION OF HERBICIDES

(STEF92 Technology, 2023-10-01, Jakub Elbl, Vojtěch Lukas, Jiří Mezera, Igor Huňády, Antonín Kintl)

The presented paper deals with the targeted application of pre-emergent herbicides. The field experiment was established in 2022 and 2023; two plots sized 26 ha and 30 ha were selected and the accuracy of the application was tested. There were local outbreaks of weeds on selected plots of land, which had to be eliminated before sowing the main crop - soybeans. Both plots were monitored using an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) - Mavic 3M with the multispectral camera. After the end of the monitoring, spectral analysi...

COMPARISON OF USING UNMANNED AERIAL VEHICLE AND SATELLITE MONITORING TO ASSESS THE CONDITION OF WINTER WHEAT STAND THROUGH NDVI VEGETATION INDEX

(STEF92 Technology, 2021-12-20, Jakub Eibl, Vojtěch Lukas, Jiří Mezera, Peter Sirucek, Antonín Kintl)

The presented paper deals with the issue of assessing the condition of winter wheat (Triticum aestivum L.) stand during its development in the spring period. The field experiment was established in 2020; two plots sized 25 ha and 16 ha were selected with a model plant of winter wheat. In the spring period (BBCH 35 and BBCH 51), both plots were monitored using an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) and Sentinel 2 satellites. After the end of the monitoring, spectral analysis of pictures taken was made and a basic NDVI ve...

THE COMPARASION OF SATELLITE AND UNMANNED MULTISPECTRAL IMAGING FOR ESTIMATION OF PLANT NUTRITIONAL STATUS OF CEREALS

(STEF92 Technology, 2021-12-20, Igor Horniacek, Vojtěch Lukas, Renata Duffková, Lubomír Neudert, Vladimír Smutný)

The aim of the study is the evaluation of multispectral imaging by unmanned aerial vehicles (UAV) and free available satellite data (Sentinel — 2) for the diagnosis of the nutritional status of winter wheat. For this purpose, a field trial was established in 2020 (28 ha of winter wheat), both on the fields of farm enterprise ZD Kojcice (Pelhrimov, Czech Republic). The observation of the fields was performed in two vegetation phases important for the application of nitrogen fertilizers to cereals by topdressing (BB...

USE OF SENTINEL-2 DATA AND PROXIMAL SENSING BY AGLEADER OPTRX FOR ESTIMATION OF NUTRITIONAL STATUS OF WINTER WHEAT

(STEF92 Technology, 2021-12-20, Jiří Mezera, Vojtěch Lukas, Jakub Elbl, Lubomír Neudert, Vladimír Smutný)

Assessment of the nutritional status of crop stand and other plant biophysical parameters can be a suitable source of information for the application of nitrogen fertilizers in precision agriculture, especially in conditions of high spatial heterogeneity of farm fields. Determination of the application rate of nitrogen fertilizers can be performed based on the plant diagnosis and estimation of plant biophysical parameters, such as nitrogen content, total amount of aboveground biomass and nitrogen uptake (Nupt), or...

ESTIMATION OF WINTER WHEAT PARAMETERS FOR SITE SPECIFIC CROP MANAGEMENT BY UNMANNED AERIAL MULTISPECTRAL IMAGING

(STEF92 Technology, 2019-06-20, Vojtěch Lukas)

Assessment of cereal plant status and other biophysical parameters, such as nitrogen uptake, nitrogen content and total amount of aboveground biomass, is important information for decision support of agronomists for correct treatment of crop management practices. Especially in in precision farming, where whole area mapping is required, this information could be provided by remote sensing as an efficient method for the monitoring of crop within field heterogeneity. The aim of this study was to verify the use of unm...
