EXPENDITURE OPTIMAL CONTROL FOR A SATELLITE MOVING CLOSE TO THE LIBRATION POINT

(STEF92 Technology, 2024-11-01, L. K. Babadzanjanz, Irina Yu. Pototskaya, Yu. Yu. Pupysheva, В. С. Королев)

Satellite motion control in the vicinity of the libration point with expenditure criteria is considered. Expenditure optimization is natural in the case, where it is necessary to keep mechanical system in the neighborhood of the equilibrium point for a long time. Disturbing factors from time to time distort this system unacceptably far from the equilibrium point, and we need to extinguish these deviations, using fuel or another resource, which reserves are limited. Optimization of the satellite motion control acco...

ALGORITHM FOR THE QUENCHING OF SEVERAL SPACECRAFT OSCILLATIONS OF THE SAME FREQUENCY

(STEF92 Technology, 2020-09-20, L. K. Babadzanjanz, I. Pototskaya, Yu. Yu. Pupysheva, I. Alesova)

The problem of quenching small vibrations of a mechanical system near its equilibrium position is considered. A method for finding switching points of piecewise constant control for simultaneous damping of several vibrations of the same frequency is proposed. As an optimized functional "the Expenditure" is considered. The method leads to explicit formulas. All results of research are formulated as the theorem. As an example the problem of stabilizing the spacecraft's rotation axis is considered. The mathematical m...

FAST EVALUATION OF MULTIVARIATE MONOMIALS FOR SPEEDING UP NUMERICAL INTEGRATION IN SPACE DYNAMICS

(STEF92 Technology, 2019-06-20, L. K. Babadzanjanz)

Many differential equations of Dynamics (i.e. Celestial Mechanics, Molecular Dynam-ics, and so on) one can reduce to polynomial form, i.e. to system of differential equa-tions with polynomial (in unknowns) right-hand sides. It implies that at every step of numerical integration of these equations, one needs to evaluate many different multivar-iate monomials for many values of variables, and that is why minimizing the evaluation cost of a system of monomials in the right-hand sides is an important problem. In Aleso...
