Contemporary technical solutions of coal dust suppression systems with spray for belt conveyors and outdoor discharges or coal stores are analysed. The Moore-Penrose pseudoinversion method applied in solving systems of linear algebraic equations with incorrectly prescribed data lead to unstable solutions.
