It is known, that there are two qualitatively different sources of supply of Tbilisi by potable water - underground (artesian wells near settlements Natakhtari, Bulachauri, Mukhrani) and surface (Tbilisi reservoir filled with waters of the rivers Aragvi and Iori). The work gives the values of the main ions (Ca2+, Mg2+, SO4 2-, Cl-, HCO3-, CO3 2-) and water hardness in drinking (tap) water in different districts of Tbilisi city (the largest settlement in Georgia).
