ENVIRONMENTAL FRIENDLY PROCESSES OVER NANOSIZED GOLD CATALYSTS

(Stef92 Technology, 2011-06-20, Yuri Kalvachev)

One-step vapor phase oxidation of aliphatic hydrocarbons over nanosized gold catalysts by using oxygen is carried out. Selective oxidation of propylene to propylene oxide, propane to acetone and isobutene to t-butanol with hydrogen- oxygen mixture in flow conditions is investigated. The reaction occurs at the interface perimeter of the support around the gold particles. The activity of these catalysts can be attributed to synergetic effects between gold and titanium. Adsorption of nitrogen oxide over the so synthe...

Rock mass deformation modulus is an im portant input parameter in any stability analysis in the surface and underground structures. This parameter can be obtained through in-situ tests, empirical relations be tween deformation modulus and rock mass classification, and estimating from back analysis method. Field tests are developed to determine this parameter directly, but these methods are time consuming and expensive. Therefore, some researchers have proposed empirical formula for estimation of rock mass modulus ...

GEODETIC WORKS IN MICRO TUNNELING PROJECTS EXCAVATED BY PIPE-JACKING METHOD

(Stef92 Technology, 2011-06-20, Nihat Ersoy)

Installation techniques of pipes line, such as water, sewerage, gas etc. are changed nowadays. Because of conventional inst allation of pipes in trench has many disadvantages, such as disruption to traffic flow, loss of access, noise, additional safety and technical problems with other buried se rvices, trenchless pipeline technologies are used widely nowadays. Settlements of the road surface are not to be expected as well as road repair work is not necessary along the pipeline for trenchless installation. There h...

GEOECOLOGICAL MODEL OF CRYSTAL PEASEFUL UNDERGROUND NUCLEAR EXPLOSION (SIBERIAN PLATE)

(Stef92 Technology, 2011-06-20, Svetlana Artamonova)

The geotechnogenic system «a cavity of underground nuclear explosion –geological environment – surface ecosystems» is considered, for the object of peaceful underground nuclear explosion (PUNE) "Cryst al" (Russia, Yakutia) as an example. New data on the radioactive pollution of surface and underground waters were obtained. Geophysical transient electromagnetic sounding, in other words - time-domain electromagnetic sounding method (TDEM) al ong two profiles above the epicentre of PUNE was applied. The reveale...

GEOLOGICAL MAPPING OF KOSOVA-ALBANIA BORDER LINE - SHEET K-34-78-A SHISHTAVEC

(Stef92 Technology, 2011-06-20, Murat Meha)

This paper presents correlations of a porti on of bordering zone Kosova – Albania, in other words sheet K-34-78-A - Shishtavec. Sheet of the three neighbouring countries boarders Kosova –Macedonia – Albania and covers the are of roughly 387 km 2. Out of this area, 148 km2 or 38 % lay in Albania territory, more precisely in the surrounding of Kukës and Dibra towns. Othe r part, however, roughly 239 km 2 or 62 % lay in Kosova territory, Dragash Municipality (Sharr Mountain area). Geological map of each of the...

GEOLOGICAL MODEL OF ARTESIAN UNDERLYING SANDY COLLECTOR IN THE CENTRAL PART OF THE MOST BASIN

(Stef92 Technology, 2011-06-20, Lukas Zizka)

The presented paper describes artesian aquifer collector which is situated in the area of interest of the J. Sverma and Vrsany open pit mines. The area of interest is situated at the southern border of the central part of the Most Basin (previously North Bohemian Brown Coal Basin). The occurrence of severa l saturated collectors, which were created in this area in different geological peri ods (especially in the Upper Cretaceous and Miocene Period), is obstacle to the continuous extraction of coal from the beginni...

GEOLOGICAL MODELS OF FORMATION AND INDUSTRIAL TYPES OF GOLD DEPOSITS IN KAZAKHSTAN

(Stef92 Technology, 2011-06-20, Adilkhan Baibatsha)

Considered the natural conditions for the fo rmation of gold, given the model of its deposits in the form of a schematic of industrial-genetic classification. Were shown the main types and examples of fields. We have created a model can serve as the scientific basis for prediction and exploration of new industrial facilities to enhance the mineral resource base of mining and processing enterprises of Kazakhstan.

GEOLOGICAL, PEDOLOGICAL AND BIOLOGICAL RESEARCH OF AREAS AFTER BROWN COAL MINING AND OPTIMIZATION OF THEIR RESTORATION METHODOLOGY

(Stef92 Technology, 2011-06-20, Michal Řehoř)

The research of restoration applicability of dump rocks started about 25 years ago. However, the complex geological, pedological and hydrogeological evaluation and the evaluation of zoocoenoses of dump areas has not been elaborated yet. It is the main topic of grant project started in 2009. Main results of this research are shown in this paper. Main attention is focused to the comparison between restorated areas and areas retained for natural succession in North Western Bohemia.
